"A couple was in the hot tub at 3 a.m. right outside my room. I had requested a quiet room. Also had a mix up with not having my room cleaned after the first day, but a nice lady brought clean sheets and we put them on together and took out the trash. The reason requested clean sheets was that I found a toe nail clipping in my bed...not mine! Also when I tried to get in the back door of the motel at night, my key would not work and I was stuck standing out there in the rain. Had to drive around to the front door and was told that my room key had expired...I had made the reservation for two days but the key was only good for one day! I had originally booked the hotel stay on-line and paid in advance. I had already received my credit card statement in the mail showing the deduction, but when I tried to check out, I was told that I had to pay and that my credit card had been denied!! My credit card has NEVER been denied. I have a perfect credit rating. I gave the manager my voucher that I had tried to give when I checked in...it had all the information on it about who I got the room from. He said they were a new company and he would have to find the paperwork for it to make sure they (the hotel) was paid. I finally checked out. Not my best stay in a hotel...but my first one at Marriott. I have another reservation this weekend at the Marriott in Oakland on Broadway and hope it is satisfactory."
